Played the remaining two games of this years "Throne of skulls" tournament. My final placing was 28 out of ~70 players. Guess it could have been around 2-5 ranks higher, but I chatted to much with my last oppenent, which costed me my part of turn five (he won the dice and I didn't manage to steal the ini). That last turn would have been a quick one, but I was leading with 8 vs 4 killpoints and so we only packed up (no chance he could have won that in the next cc phase). Guess I'm too nice for competitive tournament play. ^^
I managed to take some photos each game, the first 4 with my buddies cam and my last opponent will send me his pictures per mail, so stay tuned for some battle reps.
Short summary:
First game: 3 markers, spearhead...necrons phase out in turn 3
Second game: 2 markers, mech-sm...lost 0:1 marker
third game: mech-sm, killpoints and dawn of war deployment... 2:4 KP loss
fourth game: 5 markers, pitched battle against Eldar: 1:1 draw
fifth game: KP against a mono-khorne csm army, spearhead deployment... 8:4
72 out of possible 150 points
I'm off now writing some short notes for the upcoming battle reports and do some kitchen work.
