Tanks before priming

All 8 tanks sitting on their bases...

I'm not sure if I want to strip the paint from the blue serpent or just try to paint over it with the violet basecoat. Bases are a little bit wobbly even with 2 5x2mm magnets, talk about center of mass and force of gravity. Maybe I glueing a ring/nut around the either the pvc rod, raising the contact area the tank rests on, or on the hull, blocking the serpent from tilting over on his nose.

But basicaly I'm rather satisfied with the solution, even a wobbly tank beats having those small pins on top of the normal rod breaking off.

I'm off now for a second breakfast and some shopping (refilling the fridge). After that I will grab a box and start priming a test model first, trying to avoid a second primer mishap. If that works out fine, I put a white coat over all the unprimed tanks/walkers and start working on my jetbike squads and jetlock council.
